Support Manager Opportunities:
PBO Benefits Society are looking to shortlist prospective candidiates for new vacancies they are creating starting in January 2012.
50 Support Managers and 50 Support Co-ordinators are required to provide membership support to new members of PBO Benefits Society.
The positions are all based within the Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire area and full training is provided.
The Support Manager positions can be undertaken on either a part time or full time basis and candidates may also continue with existing business operations.
The most important requirement is that of being articulate and being able to organise and facilitate business meetings and workshops to the required format. Hours are flexible and to suit the candidates, however, those candidates who demonstrate the most flexibility and drive will be in greater demand. Managers may initially ‘co-ordinate’ these workshops, however, the on-going weekly running of the workshops, will be the responsibility of the co-ordinator and not the manager.
The minimum requirement for the manager is to set up and manage one Support Workshop within the first 4 weeks of starting and to appoint a co-ordinator to run weekly sessions for the same. The members include charities, schools. community groups, sports clubs, individuals, the self-employed plus business owners, local entrepreneurs and philanthroppists – all working together but all benefitting.
PBO is about multi-agency working and it is important to recognise, respect and nurture the perspective, contacts and opportunities provided by the various members attending. Sharing good practice and considering different ways of working to benefit everyone is what PBO is about. The key to success is removing the barriers to participation – PBO achieve this by appointing individuals to co-ordinate these ‘Network Support Groups’. Our Support Managers and co-ordinators act as the ‘Lead Professional’ in co-ordinating professionals working together from different organisations and sectors. They also establish a point of contact and facilitate dynamic working and contact online as well as face2face.
Workshops last for 90 mins and should take no more than 15 mins to set up and conclude.Remuneration is subject to attendance. Our aim is to support 20 – 50 new members and from this we will donate a lump sum of between £360.00 – £2,100.00 to a charity/beneficiary organisation.
Managers may additionally receive bonus payments of £360.00 – £2,100.00 for establishing the group and our co-ordinators are expected to earn between £50.00 and £250.00 per week for co-ordinating the on going weekly session. Managers have the opportunity to be the co-ordinator or to appoint another person to be the co-ordinator.
We are particulalry interested in recruiting experienced individuals who may run 3 – 4 workshops per week and ultimatley progress to be our ‘Group Managers’.
Prospective candidates are requested to visit the main website and then contact the UK Operations Manager by email on enquiries@pbobenefits.co.uk - providing your contact telephone number and a brief resume or cv – please prepare for an informal telephone review by return within 48 hours.
Those with experience of business meetings, affiliate schemes and networking or who are good at sales or organising may find this opportunity very rewarding.
Full FREE training is provided via a full day induction programme and on going courses.
